My biggest takeaway from this subject is that plants are important to people and society. Without them, we won’t be able to have food, medicine, certain materials, etc. I also learned a lot about the different roles of plants and their parts. During the webinar, I learned about plant businesses since online selling was one of the trends mentioned. It interested me because even if I am just a student, I can already start my own small business. There is nothing to improve in this subject because it is already a good subject. It informs a lot of students about plants and their importance. With the help of the different modules, students are able to exercise their brains into answering questions related to the current topics. As an ABM student, the only challenge I encountered was my poor time management. I used to procrastinate a lot and struggle with managing my time properly. I would sometimes do tasks 2 hours or 1 hour before the deadline and it felt really pressuring. However, in order for me to not feel too stressed, I started doing my tasks on the day the task was given by the teacher. That way, I could have more free time and more time for other subjects.

One of my biggest takeaways in Agriprenuership is that there are various parts of the plants that play a role into our development as a society. Although it is a given that plants are beneficial for us and our environment, I had not taken into account that it has its importance in the economy as well. With the use of plants, plenty of goods are made and ranges through a variety of different products. Furthermore, knowing this has enabled me to be more attentive to my environment. WIth the knowledge that plants hold an environmental and economic importance, I feel more inclined in nurturing plants around me. Following this, another takeaway that stuck to me the most is that the agriculture sector holds various opportunities for the youth, especially for ABM students who are passionate about the business industry. Due to the new trends in agriculture today, it makes it more flexible and easier for students like us to have a chance in. I’ve learned a lot of beneficial information from this subject; however, I believe that it would be a great opportunity and lesson for other upcoming students to experience projects that involve handling plants so that they are able to see and understand its importance to the society clearly. In regards to challenges I have encountered as an ABM student, I have experienced great lack of motivation in which lead to procrastination. As a graduating high school student in this year of online learning, I believe the overflowing amount of work and pressure put upon me has affected my performance in a certain period of time. However, remembering that this is my last year as a high school student, I regained motive and exert my best effort in all the tasks I do

The biggest takeaway that I appreciate from Agripreneurship 2 is the advice of the speaker in the online webinar to my question. I had asked her of what a student can do to start his/her own Agripreneurship journey and she replied with tips that are applicable to starting up a business. Her strategy included the use of free platforms and helping the local farmers. With our accessibility to different forms of communication, I was regarded as having the capability to start a simple business. Even so, she had made aware that knowledge is power in finding interest in Agriculture. This is because it allows us to understand what we are selling. Given this, I believe that it would become more fascinating to have a project such as actually planting. Whether it is indoor, outdoor, or an innovatively guided way of planting. It will let the students have a different experience and let them spend some time away from their gadget screens that are full of modules or texts. In relation to overwhelming modules, my biggest obstacle was managing my time in accomplishing the activities. I believe that not much of my tasks were late, although I had a couple. This time management was resolved through reminding myself to fulfill my responsibilities. With the proper push, I am able to submit requirements on time. Agripreneurship 1 from the last school year was even worse as I had only caught up with the activities about two weeks or a week before the term ended. Knowing my improvement, I am proud to have accomplished what I did this year despite not getting straight punctual submissions
Stems can either be herbaceous or woody. One way or the other, the stem is a significant part of the plant that holds and supports its leaves and flowers. Not only do stems support the plant, but it also is found to be useful in many other ways as they play a role in the economy as well. Stems can be utilized to make merchandise, such as food, materials, medicine, and much more. When consumers purchases these products made from the contribution of stems, money goes into the economy, resulting in the growth of our society. To support this statement, an example of stem products would be foods such as sugar cane and potatoes. The edible part of potatoes is found to be the underground stem called a tuber. Moreover, stems are used to produce materials as well since wooden stems from trees are utilized for construction. With this, we are able to get products such as doors, floorboards, furniture, boxes, plywood buildings and so much more. From pulpwood, cellophane and paper can be made. Lastly, stems are also used in making medicine, such as ephedrine. The liquid extract of stems is used in controlling asthma. Furthermore, many other types of medicine are made and used in many medicinal preparations. There are many purposes of stems as produce. Without it, the economy would not thrive.
